Guest guest
I seem to have contracted some kind of condition - my ears are inflamed, itchy and have some scales on it, my scalp has erupted in welts and just terrible itching and burning all around. My cat has also had a run in with ear mites and ringworm and now me. I've been doing some yard work that could be the culprit. What haven't I done so far - I've washed my hair 2x in 24 hours, applied goldenseal, ingested a few cloves of garlic, massive amounts of vitamin c and b. But nothing is budging. I don't want to go the conventional route with seeing a doctor. I had ringworm once before from my cat - I used bleach - but that was on my leg. I'm cautious about using bleach in the head/ear area. Guest guest
Neem oil and tea tree oil come to mind. Neem will kill the scabies and the tea tree will kill the fungal infections.. I would just mix both and apply it. Guest guest
Ringworm and rashes are also an imbalance of pitta or fire. Do the same recommendations as for the eye floater post. Also, stay away from oily foods like cheese (cottage cheese is okay as is ricotta), oils and definitely fried foods. Keep the colon clean. Try neem tea as a poltice and internally. Also, black walnut and wormwood poltices may help. Guest guest
Try tea tree oil. I believe a 5-10% dilution is supposed to effectively treat scabies, ringworm, etc. Look it up in wiki or google for some extra " recipe " ideas. You might want to just try diluting it in a little aloe gel if you want to keep it simple. For the best accuracy, measure by weight, not volume. Keep in mind tea tree oil does have a somewhat strong smell (slightly camphoraceous but fresh). I'm not sure on the quality, but i know places like Walmart and Walgreens carry it. It's readily available online also. I've also read articles about a borax/hydrogen peroxide solution that's good for some types of mange, which can sometimes be a type of scabies I believe. From what I remember reading though, it's a lengthy treatment process but worth it if it's your only alternative before seeking professional medical attention. Warning: It did say it can discolor skin and will discolor hair. ~Jaya , " mountainrainstone " <beitharmony wrote: > > I seem to have contracted some kind of condition - my ears are inflamed, itchy and have some scales on it, my scalp has erupted in welts and just terrible itching and burning all around.
