Guest guest
April, my 15 yr old dog is in pretty much the same shape as yours. She is down to 1/2 a pred tab 3x a week, but her hindquarters are almost not working----just as you describe. I got a natural product from my vet that has really helped. The only problem is he charged me an arm and a leg for it. I found it for about half thru google. Look up " Denamarin " . It's a combo of SAMe and Silymarin. I would say it has cut her falling incidences way down, and she is more comfortable walking across the slippery kitchen floor. Good luck! Guest guest
Hi April and Sharon, Please look up Bioresonance and Pulsed Electromagnetic Field therapies...They both can work wonders, especially when used together. We have a Bioresonance and PEMF centre in southern Spain, and have seen wonderful results- mostly with humans, but several patients have asked us if we could treat their pets as well. Guest guest
Sharon, I assume your dog has disk disease. Have you Joined the Dodgerslist ?? Its a very good support group for owners that are going threw this with their dog and they have so much knowledge!! They were saying how accupuncure really help with this problem also. ~April~
Guest guest
I don't know whether it's disk disease or not, as we had so many other doggy health problems to deal with first. Thanks for letting me know about this group, I'm writing this on a borrowed laptop as my computer is in the " hospital--critical care unit " . Until I get my own back, I'll hope this stays on my server. Thanks, April! " April Veneigh " aprilgiggles Sharon, I assume your dog has disk disease. Have you Joined the Dodgerslist ?? Guest guest
Thanks for these ideas, Elizabeth. I'll keep an eye out for availability in my area.
