Guest guest
Jane, Look up a good Chinese herbalist in you area. There is a formula named Dang Gui Si Ni Tang, Angelica Four Frigid Extremeties Decoction. With modifications, it may be just what you need. But seek out a qualified practitioner for this. My skin is so intolerant of any amount of cold so I never wear sleeveless shirt. It feels like an ice cold when I expose my skin. However when covering myself with blanket in the night my body sweats! This started after my baby delivery. ANy help? jane
Guest guest
I would start by investigating your thyroid and adrenal function. Common to have issues after delivery. Guest guest
Hi Jane, It sounds like a hormonal imbalance. You may want to get salivary hormone test done to see where you stand. Guest guest
I experience the same symptoms. Mine began during my perimenopausal stage and extended into the menopausal stage. Your symptoms could be due to the hormonal changes after child birth. Have your practitioner check your hormonal levels and also your thyroid levels. brejean Never make someone a priority in your life When you are an option in theirs
Guest guest
Bad circulation can cause cold extremities. Do you smoke? Do you have diabetic neuropathy? Guest guest
Can also be related to thyroid disorders. A blood test to check T free 3 and T free 4, is a must to ck for healthy functioning. Iodine supplement is also helpful too. Usually a sign of low Iodine - feeling cold all the time, even in summer. , Alobar <Alobar wrote: > > Bad circulation can cause cold extremities. Do you smoke? Guest guest
I agree with Marla. Join the thyroid group: Natural Thyroid Group. Explain your situation. I'm sure they would be helpful. Greg I would start by investigating your thyroid and adrenal function. Common to have issues after delivery. Marla
