Protect our Health by Protecting Elections from more Corporate control

Last week, five Supreme Court Justices overturned over 100 years of statute

and precedent, and declared that corporations can spend all the money that

they want to buy elections.

The Supreme Court’s ruling in Citizens United vs. FEC would allow

corporations to

spend unlimited amounts of money directly on attack ads supporting or

opposing Congressional candidates.

 

We must pass a constitutional amendment to ensure corporate money does not

overwhelm our democracy and clarify that the First Amendment is for people

-- not corporations.
