Guest guest
Hi All, I'm interested in naturopathy topic which is included in this forum. I have some questions about it, hope you can help me. Thanks 1. Is there any side effect of naturopathy treatment compare to medical treatment? 2. A friend of mine suffered from sinusitis from more than 15 years ago. He has visited many doctors to cure his illness. An allergic test resulted that he is allergic to dust. A doctor ever said, since he is still living in a polluted country, then his allergic is hard to cure. Everyday, he gets flu, nasal congestion, cold, which are caused by the allergic. Is there any solution from naturopathy or any other alternative medicine? Thanks, I hope you are willing to answer mya question Regards, eva

Guest guest
Hi Eva, Q1. The reality is - anything can have a side effect depending on the individual and their situation and whatever else they are doing. Which sort of naturopathic treatment are you thinking about? Nutrition Herbalism Homeopathy Flower Remedies Accupuncture Reflexology Hydrotherapy etc Some types of treatments are more likely to have side effects than others. And especially if someone is combining them with regular medication. i.e. certain herbs and nutrients can have interactions with drugs Q2. If you friend looks at detoxing his body and rebuilding his immune system he should be able to at least reduce his symptoms to a more tolerable level if nothing else. I suggest you search this forum on liver detox information - the liver is a large part of the immune system... as is the gut - therefore ensuring that he has no food intolerances, rebuilding his gut lining if he has leaky gut, and populating with healthy bacteria. Also various nutrients can help build up the immune system. Also look at stress levels and stress management - constant stress puts pressure on the adrenal glands, weakens the immune system and depletes nutrients. In short, it would be a good idea, if he can, to seek out a decent naturopathic physician or nutritional therapist who can guide him through a detox and nutrition programme. Guest guest
I use homemade colloidal silver spray on my nostrils when my nose is congested or if my sinuses hurt. At bedtime, i put chopped onions in a bowl of water beside my head on the night table because it prevents attacks of my allergic asthma and allergic coughs. Guest guest
Eva I would suggest using a neti pot with warm salted water. Also, using nasya oil. One place that should have both is www.bazaarofindia.com. GB > > 2. A friend of mine suffered from sinusitis from more than 15 years ago. He has visited many doctors to cure his illness.
