I am using cq 10 and garlic tablets as a treatment for gum disease. I also am

wondering what else I can use to heal the gums. I cannot afford treatments at a

dentist at this time. I rinse with an herbal mouthwash with some herbs. I wonder

is vitamin c or d would help me also.

Years ago, before Sonicare became well known, I bought the system for

nearly $200 after hearing an infomercial on TV. I had gum pockets

8-10mm deep. The dentist warned me that nothing short of an operation

could be done. In less than six months, they were down to 4-5mm.

Needless to say, it saved me from a serious gum operation and probably

saved my teeth.

It's not herbal, but try " oil pulling. " It's where you swish an oil, like raw

coconut oil, for instance, through your teeth for about 20 minutes, I think.

You chew, push, and pull the oil through the teeth, which is supposed to work

wonderfully for pulling toxins out of the mouth and entire body. Spit out the

oil when finished, and do it first thing in the morning. There is much more

info online about this. Best wishes!

Veeda,

It would appear that White Oak Bark powder applied to the gums at night in a

water saturated mix, has astringent properties that help the gums recover from

any kind of infection of looseness.
