Guest guest
>EFAs and cancer, Brain Peskin's work and findings </message/58652;_ylc=X3o\ DMTJyMTdmdG81BF9TAzk3MzU5NzE1BGdycElkAzQxOTgyNTEEZ3Jwc3BJZAMxNzA1MDYwODE0BG1zZ0l\ kAzU4NjUyBHNlYwNkbXNnBHNsawN2bXNnBHN0aW1lAzEyNjMxMjcwMDE->< This is a long article that takes far too long to get to the facts, but here are some comments on Prof. Peskin's conclusions: Peskin thinks that he has the answer to the cancer problem in terms of diet and in many ways he appears to be correct. However, given what has been shown elsewhere, he really does not understand the true nature of Cancer... as fungus/candida. He talks of Dr. Otto Warburg's discovery of cancer being anaerobic, but does not mention that Warburg also discovered that Cancer always occurs in an acidic enviroment nor that it feeds on sugar (even though he correctly warns against dietary sugar and carbohydrates). Warburg, no doubt, influenced Dr.Simoncini to his Bicarbonate of Soda treatment. Warburg was a genius, but Peskin needs to dig deeper into his work. He also should look into Simoncini's work and read Dr. Mark Sircus' book if he is ever to get to the bottom of this. It has been known for years that excess fish oils will actually induce cancer in lab animals, so Peskin's warning is well taken. Certainly, EFA's are important to health, Peskin is right here also. Peskin's argument against Omega 3 does not address why we are told to increase our omega 3 to 6 ratio. The American diet is loaded with excess poor quality omega 6's. So far, small amounts of fish oils appear to balance this ratio and have positive effects. High quality Cod Liver Oil seems to be the correct choice. Dr, Mercola believes that Krill is the answer, but most experts agree that these sources are beneficial overall for cardio health. In a few years, this could all change, but Peskin is just one contrary source and is not an expert. Many have warned against dietary soy and Peskin is probably correct in his assumption that it should be avoided since soy apparently mimics natural hormones and causes problems.
