Guest guest
A friend who I often meet in the health food store sent me this information about her health. Does anyone have any experience with an auto-immune inflammation affecting the eyes? Lynn The doctors tell me it is an autoimmune condition and that I possibly have Sarcoidosis but tests for that were inconclusive. The problems I have had are uveitis (redness and irritation in the eye due to inflammation). Anyway I had a trabectolectomy (after having a steroid injection in that eye which probably caused the pressure to go up) a couple of years ago in the right eye because the pressure was too high and that stopped working. I had a barvelt shunt put in which is still healing. I am currently using steroid eyedrops daily - maxidex in right eye, and lotexmax, combigan and travetan in left eye.
