Guest guest
I use calcium - in chewable tablets or open a capsule and take the powder with a little water - unless that would mess with his chemistry required for the diet. Twinlab calcium citrate has no unnecessary fillers, and also has magnesium, which is needed with calcium. He is trying to control the disease without chemo or radiation. He is doing the Budwig Protocol and taking various supplements recommended by a CAM physician. He is doing quite well except for having constant heartburn. We have already tried Apple Cider Vinegar and it did not work. Any and all ideas as to how to control this heartburn would be welcome. thanks to you all Nili
Guest guest
According to Dr. Batmanghelidj, water is a great cure or heartburn. Also, dehydration is the cause of many diseases. A person should be systematically drinking half their body weight in ounces daily (i.e. weight 100= 50 ounces of water) The body needs water for digestion, so if water is not taken it this can cause heartburn. Drink a full glass of water before each meal. No more than 4 ounces can be used by the body at a time so drink 4 oz. every 30 minutes. Do not wait until you are thirsty to drink because you then would already be dehydrated. Asthma is a symptom of dehydration because when the body becomes dehydrated it will pull moisture from the lungs. Go to www.watercure.com ________________________________ Nili Gitig <ngitig Tue, November 10, 2009 9:43:14 PM << >> heartburn relief  My husband has been diagnosed with non small cell lung cancer. Guest guest
I have no suggestions for heartburn, but your husband might want to look into the Duncan Crow Revision of the Budwig protocol. http://members.shaw.ca/duncancrow/Budwig-diet-revision.html Alobar' On Tue, Nov 10, 2009 at 8:43 PM, Nili Gitig <ngitig wrote: > My husband has been diagnosed with non small cell lung cancer. Guest guest
Aloe vera juice works wonders for heartburn--it's been more effective for me than prilosec. I use Orange Papaya from www.aloelife.com. I mix an ounce with water in the morning and in the evening, and it works great. , Alobar <Alobar wrote: > > I have no suggestions for heartburn, but your husband might want to > look into the Duncan Crow Revision of the Budwig protocol. > http://members.shaw.ca/duncancrow/Budwig-diet-revision.html > > Alobar' > > > On Tue, Nov 10, 2009 at 8:43 PM, Nili Gitig <ngitig wrote: > > My husband has been diagnosed with non small cell lung cancer.
