Guest guest
Hi Betty, The three most common herbs for lung treatment are Coltsfoot, Horehound, and Mullein. To that, I would add Lomatium root (www.lomatium.com) and Osha root. I have gained significant wind since using these herbs; I can now propel myself easily up hills on my bicycle, whereas before it made me quite winded (I am 60). Guest guest
Although I was just diagnosed with Crohns, I have week lungs. Many times with pneumonia and broncitis. I have used Pure Essential Eucalyptus Oil with great results. I have not googled it but I am sure there is alot of info there, as it helps break up the gunk in the lungs and you cough it up. Might have to take things slow at first, but I am living proof that it works to get that stuff out. Make sure it is PURE ESSENTIAL OIL and not diluted in any way. I just dap a few drops down the front of my night shirt and inhale away. The longer I inhale the deeper I can feel it going down. Do a google search about eucalyptus oil as an expetorant. It is also said to boost your immune system. I have used it for about 9 years. Now I just have to figure out about this Crohns. I wish your brother luck and good health. Take care. *Caza* , " befas2003 " <befas2003 wrote: > > My brother has smoked for aver 40 years and now his health is in jeopardy with heart and lung disease.
