Prostate and PSA

The first note went before I intended it to.

 

It should have said my PSA was in the 4's and accelerating for the last year.

Psa depends on age or an immediate illness below 6.o at age 50 to 60 is fine.as

you age (70-80's) PSA climbs to 10 check with you medical adviser for advise...

My PSA's were running in the 4's and accelerating over the past 18 months. For

the past few months I had been taking Costco's Prostrate Health supplement, and

the most recent PSA was in the mid 3s. I don't know if the supplement was

responsible, or if other factors have come into play, or if it is somehow

masking a metric that should not be masked. Never the less, I thought it was

worth mentioning here, there may be others who have had such experiences.

 

Using PSAs as a measure of prostate condition is an issue still in dispute: I'm

pretty much aware of the professional literature on the matter.

 

I'd be looking for professional advice long before it got to 10, thanks.
