I couldn't help myself and HAD to come clean with y'all as the total

Star Wars nerd that I am ;) I just got the new old Star Wars movies on

DVD and after watching the first 3 films (episodes # 4, 5 & 6) over the

weekend and early this week on VHS I'll now have to go and watch all 5

available films on DVD - so I may be among the missing while indulging

in my Star Wars mania ;)

And for other Star Wars freaks like me - links to several

Chris -

I was in 8th grade when this movie came out. Did you see the 'look back'

special on TV the other night? Mark Hamill has not aged well. LOL.

I still remember how it was just the most incredible effects we'd ever seen in

our time. Oy (or is it 'oi'?) I sound so old.

I loved that first movie. DH and I were giggling ourselves silly when Toy Story

2 made references to it here and there.

Hey Dale,

I was 4 - I guess we date ourselves, huh? *lol*

> Did you see the 'look back' special on TV the other night?

OF COURSE - what kind of Star Wars geek would I be if I didn't? ;)

> Mark Hamill has not aged well. LOL.

No, no he hasn't *lol* But we'll give him leeway since he was in that

car accident between A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back and had his face

reconstructed on the left side ... ;)

Funny thing is my 4 yr old understands the joke too ;)

Dale~

I believe Mark Hamill was in a bad wreck and burned severely.

In his case it was not just partying that aged him.

My apologies to Mark. I didn't know that. I'm not much for reading up on

entertainment folks. DH does though. He can point out actors that are huge

today in tiny little roles in movies from years ago.

The only one I can remember clearly from before they were big time big personas

is Sarah Jessica Parker. I remember her as the other 'nerd' (can I say that and

be PC???) on the show Square Pegs and of course Foot Loose.

Therefore, my hats off to Mr. Hamill for being a true survivor. Looking at him

and knowing what you and Chris have told me I don't even want to imagine what he

must have been through.
