Guest guest
I want to thank everyone for their prayers for Hurricane Frances. Except for lost of power and cable/Internet for over a week, I came through fine. I hope our other listbuddies in these areas were equally spared. Yesterday while working at H & R Block, I had an elderly woman come in that had lost her home. she was having to move to an apartment while they fixed her house. Her husband (retired military) has Alzheimer's and has been in a nursing home in Orlando for 3 years. He died 2 days ago. I handled the pains at the apartment complex. Her son is complaining about having to help her with the insurance agent, because the agent isn't responding to her. I'd like to read him the riot act, but not in position to do so. She is just so stressed out and the VA can't do anything until she get a death certificate (takes 7 days). She actually broke down at my desk. My heart just goes out to her and I'm trying to get her some counseling somehow. Unfortunately, she doesn't have any family close or friends and I guess not active at a local church. So maybe we could add her to our prayer lists and send her some strength to get through all this. She was trying to be so strong through it all, but I could see the pressure was getting to her. Thanks in advance from both of us. Have a beautiful day. Patty Corapi - know if they would just name that hurricane that keeps hitting my office LOL

Guest guest
Dear Pattie, My thoughts have been so much with the people that have been effected by the hurricane. For I know so many elderly people live there. I am so glad you could be of comfort to this lady, may she find the strength to pull through.
