Guest guest
Rebecca good afternoon, First thing is to find out why there is a restriction on massage and essential oils. Some doctors/specialists haven't the foggiest notion about aromatherapy or the benefits of massage so there might be a negative mindset there. Both illness' you mention are viral so I would use oils which are strong antivirals. Glandular fever also leaves the person with similar symptoms to CFS so I would research oils for that as well. I would back up your recommendations with the chemical breakup of the oils and the properties of the chemicals. I would also ensure that you use the best cold-pressed carrier oil you can. Finally get yourself a Mimms and reference the medication your clients are on and then ensure that you are not working against them 'chemically'. Understandably, many health practitioners are antagonistic to aromatherapy as the modality is practised by a number of people with only the bare qualifications.
