OT (kinda): I made a neat cleansing cream

Hey ya'll!

 

Just thought I would send a quick email......

 

I made some cleansing cream.....almost the consistency of Pond's Cold

Cream.....and the really funny part......it smells almost IDENTICAL to

Pond's!

 

What's the likelyhood of that? I also made a soap one time that smelled

just like Ivory! <yuck!>

 

Anyway.....just thought I'd share.

 

Anyone looking for some cold cream? I am gonna try it tonight, and see

if I like it.

 

BTW, I made the cream using beeswax, sunflower oil, rosewater, lemon juice,

borax, and grapefruit EO.

 

So, the only 'fragrance' was the rosewater, lemon juice, and grapefruit EO.

 

Pretty nifty.

I did like it....but I did have a slight separation in the batch......just a

small amount of the liquid that didn't emulsify. I drained it off.....

 

I don't care to share the recipe....but I don't think you'd want one that

doesn't fully emulsify.

 

If you still want to try it, I will post it.

 

Otherwise, if you want....after I tweak the recipe a bit.....I will post it,

once I have a fully emulsified formula.
