How about a health food shop? They usually have that sort of thing fit for human consumption. K Cheers! Guest guest
first off i'd like to say that i hope that all of our florida friends are safe. it would be nice to see them check in so that we know that all is well. i do realize that alot are out of power but i'm still wondering if all is well with them. i have a question for anyone on the list. i have a friend that's looking for whole rye to make a big batch of mash. i've checked with the feed store here and they have it but it's only had one washing and they didn't think that it could be used, without cleaning again, for human comsumption. does anyone on the list have a good source for this sort of thing? maybe someone who makes alot of breads. i thought of a co-op but we don't have any close around here that deal with it either and if they do, it's ground for baking purposes. any suggestions are welcome. deb c chillicothe, mo.
