Guest guest
hi Carol~ I just hopped on this list...cant remember from what link..but I too have pets. Four dogs and one of them occasionaslly gets alot of pain. At one point we tried rimadyl..but read that it is not good for dogs. I have read that glucosamine/chondroiton is very good for dogs and I saw some at the hunting supply store(Bass Pro Shop). I am sure that the local feed stores will have it too. They make it specifically for dogs and other animals. I plan to try it next time she hurts. Well, another time my dog, " DAWG " , had alot of pain, and we took her in and found that she had clogged anal glands. Apparently, all dogs get this at some point and it is very painful. My vet drained them ( a very messy & smelly) ordeal and Dawg has been fine ever since! and before that, I had to pick her up to move her cause she acted like she was paralyzed! Good luck and hugs, Nessy Saylor ---------------- Hi all... Hope your Monday is going well... On saturday afternoon my dog started to scream everytime he tried to climb a step. He is in a lot of pain. I have taken him to the vet, and they say that one of his disks in his spine, has become dislodged ( ok, there is a technical phase for it, But I can't remember it), apparently it's common for lhasa's to get it.. Guest guest
Hi, Thanks for the info..I will keep this in my doggy file, incase this comes up in the future... I love this list, I can ask about anything and there is always people sharing great advice.. I can buy it online 60 capsules for $10... Or... Glucosamine Chondroitin for Dogs combines the powerful joint repairing ingredients glucosamine and chondroitin for the treatment of canine osteo-arthritis and hip dysplasia offerred at significant savings compared to similar supplements at veterinarian offices and pet stores. Is Your Best Friend Slowing Down? If your dog has slowed down or is not moving around like he used to he could be suffering from canine osteoarthritis and/or hip dysplasia. Canine osteo-arthritis is common as dogs naturally age but Glucosamine Chondroitin for Dogs can help reverse this aging process by renewing damaged joints allowing your dog to return to the activity level they once enjoyed. Perhaps best of all, we make it convenient to treat your dog because Glucosamine Chondroitin for Dogs comes in a tasty, bacon-flavored chewable treat. 1 bottle for $21.95 for the bacon flavour.. Thanks Again..
