Carol, Aspirin, and dogs

Carol,

Just my 2 cents here.....

If your fur baby is already on an anti-inflammatory, I would ask the vet

before giving aspirin. In humans, you are NOT supposed to mix the

two.....as aspirin and the anti-inflammatory medication can cause bleeding

ulcers or other hemorraging in the stomach or intestines.

 

Just wanted to give you a heads up.

Thanks... I never got around to asking her about the asprin, when we arrived

to pick him up, she made us wait 30 minutes to talk to her. I left my

daughter babysitting my son, and was starting to panic..lol

 

All was fine with the world.
