Guest guest
Hey Carol, I hope the poor poochie baby feels better really soon, doesn't have this problem again, and if he does the bill isn't as bad as you're anticipating. Sometimes if its a vet you've been dealing with for a long period of time they'll make a payment plan with you, or maybe you'll be able to charge it and then get lucky with one of those great 0% interest for a year balance transfer promo offers from your CC company Good luck, keep us posted, and enjoy your cups of tea! *Smile* Chris (list mom) http://www.alittleolfactory.com Carol Pearce [cjpearce] Hi all... Hope your Monday is going well... On saturday afternoon my dog started to scream everytime he tried to climb a step. He is in a lot of pain. I have taken him to the vet, and they say that one of his disks in his spine, has become dislodged ( ok, there is a technical phase for it, But I can't remember it), apparently it's common for lhasa's to get it.. He is still at the vet, and I'm sure that when I pick him up later he will feel much better ( better than I will when I see the bill, I bet, lol). Just feeling a little down and over emotional, due to only getting 2 hours sleep last night. So for anyone who has a lhasa, watch out for this, these types of dogs are not supposed to play tug of war, with people or our other dog. When he comes home he is expected to be caged for maximum rest for 8 weeks, and now that he has gotten this once, there is a great chance of reoccurance, if it gets bad, I'm looking at a $4000 operation, which I know I won't be able to afford. Anyway, just wanted to warn all you other dog owners, that he got this running up the stairs, so It can't really be avoided. So bubble wrap your lhasa's and don't let them run happy and free.. Carol ( who is going for her 5th tea, just can't seem to wake up).
