Well..... I just found out you can't use cinnamon bark oil as a replacement for

cinnamon in zuccinni bread!! LOL .... I thought it kinda smelled A LOT ... and

it tasted...well, let's say it didn't taste 'normal' .. so thought I would try

it out on the grkids ... first one that bit into it said...NANA did you put

essential oils in this????? (she's 6 going on 30) .. I couldn't stop

laughing...oh well, my chickens will eat good...unless I can come up with

somehow to disguise the taste!

just something to pass on :-)

Blessings,

Pam

Pam,

I sure hope I don't sound like a nincompoop, but when you said you're trying to

find something to do with this bread, two things popped into my head (and I know

NOTHING about this EO--lol): bread pudding and french toast. Those 2 things,

both made with bread, will hide the taste of almost anything.......

Hi Pam,

Very astute granddaughter you have :)

I hope you won't get turned off to the idea of using certain EO's for

flavoring food. When I cook with EO's - depending on the flavoring I

need I usually only use a drop or two of any given oil OR I'll dilute

the EO first in an edible " carrier oil " (for example olive oil) and then

add drops of that to the food.

Good luck next time :)

Great ideas!

Or how about maybe use it for a chicken stuffing, even mixed half and

half with " regular " bread! :-D
