hi, I'm new here, just joined, looking forward to learning more about herbs and

oils

about the duct tape, my dd had a wart on the bottom of her foot, we used tea

tree oil (not diluted) and duct tape and it disappeared

the duct tape seals the wart and smothers it

OK, I just have to ask! I mean, I know that the world would probably fall

apart without the wonderful duct tape......but to get rid of plantar's

warts??? Please do tell! I have *something* on my left foot, pinkie

toe. It seemed to start way back when, when I had to wear high heels to

work etc. I thought it was a callous. It gets alot of dead type skin

around it, but if you try to dig that thing out, it feels like there is a

nerve wrapped around that sucker! OUCH! I'm not real sure what it

actually IS, but I know that I would love to be able to get rid of

it! I've tried tea tree, emu, junk from the store (even that acid

stuff!). Nothing has helped......except to let hubby carve away most of

the dead skin every now & again. It usually ends up with me being in tears

:( I welcome any ideas!

Welcome aboard Kathy,

It is great to have you here.

I can't believe it that practically every day I hear a new use for duct

tape *lol*. That stuff really has to be the single most impressive

modern invention ;)

Hi Chris,

When I posted the request about the plantar's wart, I got some great

replies. I believe that I still have most of them so I will put them

together in one post and send them back to the list again. Basically, I

guess the premise is that the duct tape doesn't allow the wart to grow or it

suffocates the wart and eventually it dies.

The one reply was just to use duct tape, but I made a blend of tea tree and

a few other oils and she used that as well as the duct tape. Within a few

days, she was able to walk on it again without pain and she had been limping

around for weeks prior to that. There was another one about using a banana

peel. I can't remember all of the rest.

I'm a little too tired to put that stuff together tonight but over the next

couple of days, I will put it together. Please send me your email address

off-list and I will send you a copy directly as well as one to the list.
