Guest guest
Hello again Josh, I guess when I said that the Caroma was not ideal that it sort of sounded like I did not like it at all. That is not the message that I was trying to get across. I said that the Caroma was the best diffuser that I have been able to find for using in my car, but if anybody out there knows of a car diffuser that works better than the Caroma, then I would love to hear about it. It just seems to me that sometimes new products come out on the market and it takes some time for people to try them out and then either start recommending them to others or giving opinions on how they work, etc. So until I hear of a better alternative, the Caroma is the " ideal " car diffuser for me. As far as a nebulizing type diffuser working in a car, I don't think it would be impossible but I personally have never seen one designed to work in a car. A nebulizing diffuser normally has some type of air pump that blows the essential oils into a glass (and usually rather fragile) nebulizer and it somehow turns the essential oils into micro-droplets (like an ultra-fine mist) which then scents the air. In a car I think it would be rather cumbersome and then there would be the difficulty of keeping it stable while the vehicle is moving. In my opinion a nebulizing type diffuser is wonderful and probably the most therapeutic way of using essential oils for inhalation and since it does not heat the oils you are not changing the properties of the essential oils by heating them. There are probably many people on this list that could explain nebulizing diffusers much better than I have here and I do apologize for rambling on like this but I didn't want you to think that you were being ignored. I hope that I have not added to any confusion over car diffusers and if you should discover a better alternative than the Caroma I really would like to hear about it. Good luck in your search. I'm just not sure I want to mess around with pads, and also not interested in having to continually buy disposable supplies. Rosanne, what's not ideal about the caroma product? Why wouldn't a nebulizer work in a car? (I don't know how they work, so:) -Josh
