Guest guest
Hi all, I am VERY new to the world of Aromatherapy. I took a corse on-line, bought a diffusor (cool type, not heated), and a bunch of tiny vials of EO. I was so surprised ot read all the great things that come about from Aromatherapy! I know I am addicted now. A little about me...I am a Stay-at-home mom of three children. Very busy! Married to one terrific man for almost 4 years (together nearly 9). We all live in Western Mass. I am very happy to find this group and eager to learn as much as I can! Of corse since I am so new to this I am sure I will come up with many questions! My first question is....I have this new diffuser and losts of EO. I have not yet been able to make anything that smells " good " . Most everything I have combined smells like medicine or the smell dissapears quickly. My diffusor is AKO-Aromatherapy Diffusor, sort of looks like a black toaster oven. I was wondering if any of you would know a good combo (drops too) that would provide a pleasing aroma. I have had so many flops that my husband wants to know where the regualr lilac or cinnamon smeels are, LOL. As you can imagine with three children there is a lot of " stress " in my home. I was hoping I could provide some calmness through Aromatherapy. Thanks in Advance to any replies!! Tara

Guest guest
Welcome aboard! I'm not sure what you are using but try reading a book. I really like " Aromatherapy for Dummies " by Kathi Keville and " The Complete Book of Essential Oils & Aromatherapy " by Valerie Ann Worwood. I found easy to follow recipes and sound advice in both of these books PLUS all the folks here are just great about answering questions on just about everything you can come acrossed.
