is my favorite. Dip in egg, then in flour w/salt & pepper. Let sit

long enough for the flour egg mixture to soak into the okra. Then

fry in oil. This makes a crunchy coating and the only way my

Californian dh will eat it.

 

With slice tomatoes, stewed corn and fresh peas, it can be beat (all

fresh, of course).

Ooh that sounds so good! Thanks for the recipe Bobbye! My Nana used to grow

Okra in her garden. So even though we are all from California, I love Okra

:) She was from the south though :)
