Guest guest Posted August 4, 2004 Report Share Posted August 4, 2004 Just wondering about the abcesses. Are they on the frog of the foot? If so, that is not necessarily an internal issue. When horses are shod the frog never touches the ground so the abcesses could come from parasites, contamination or the wearing away of sensitive tissue.
