Guest guest
Pam, We have horses too! My husband is a farrier so when he gets in I'll ask him. He'll probably say, " lamp oil or turpentine " those are his fix alls for everything. He is extremely good with horses, very rarely shoes, except for corrective work, we learned that from the Mustangs. If you don't mind my asking, why are you going barefoot? Melissa - Pam Monday, August 02, 2004 2:36 PM **Possible_Spam** Horse Detox?? Just wondering if anyone would have a recipe that I can make a detox for my horse? I'm in the transition period of trying to go from shoes, to barefoot - I've been told that the following herbs would be beneficial, but have no clue as to how much of each - any help would be appreciated chaparrel, fennel, fenugreek, licorice, and skullcap - these are supposed to cleanse or detoxify the bowels, kidneys and lymph system - and lungs. thanks!
