I think they may have something there that you just click on... I dunno to be

honest.

Get yourself a number and check it out... and don't let it daunt you. It

looks a bit confusing to start with.

Hi all...

I am hoping for suggestions, I lost my web site...everything...last week.

I have decided to look at the silver lining and look for a nicer better shopping

cart, since the one my web mistress got for me, I absolutely HATE. So, I want to

change it and now seems like a great time to do it.

Does anyone LOVE their shopping carts?

Do you know of one that you could recommend?

If you want to email me privately, That would be great..

Thanks Gang.

Ouch! How frustrating but good on you for finding this as an opportunity:-)

We've just completed one using osCommerce

<http://www.oscommerce.com/> and we're about to go live with it within days

after FINALLY getting our own SSL and Eway through our bank to process real

time transactions.

My partner tells me there's another one called Zen Cart that's meant to have

more enhancements but he can't comment on how good it really is

<http://www.zen-cart.com/modules/frontpage/>

Up until now we'd always used Mal's for processing and if you're looking for

something free I don't think there's anything better.

I decided to send this public in case others are doing similar things with

their websites.

Thanks... After looking at the oscommerce, I believe that was the shopping

cart that my web mistress hooked me up with originally. The site was

supposed to go live August 1st, LOL...

I really like those web site's that have the buy now button on the

description page, the only thing that put me off this was that you had to

click INTO the shopping cart.

It threw the whole feeling of the site... hard to explain.

My site is back up, and will be undergoing many many changes, I'm hiring my

friends 14 year old son to make it magickal..lol. Besides my web mistress

has enough to deal with.

Now has anyone checked out paypal's shopping cart?

I *LOVE* Americart...it is NOT free ($249/year) but is a great

investment in my opinion. It is very flexible and allows me to have

sales, do discounts and all the other stuff I can do in my retail

store...only online, and it's not TOO hard to figure out, even for a

novice like me. You can see it at work on my website

(prairielandherbs.com) and visit their site at www.americart.com

Awww, thanks! I do appreciate that. That is partly why I liked

americart so much...you can totally customize all the buttons, etc, so

it doesn't look " canned " , you know what I mean?
