Guest guest
Hi Chris I love Lemon Balm and a couple of weeks ago clipped it right down before it flowered. I stripped the leaves and froze them and can now take out a few at a time to use! hugs Ann - Scotland I had to trim my happily growing Lemon Balm this weekend, and I decided to make it the herb of the week this week (July 19 - 25)
Guest guest
Good Morning, I will have a bumper crop of several herbs this year (lemon balm, lemon verbena, etc) and I'm wondering what all of you do with your herbs. I infuse oil with some of them but need some suggestions on how to use the rest. Thank you for any advice that you might have. I've taken fresh leafy herbs like basil and chopped them up and put them into ice cube trays and then filled them with water to have " fresh " basil any time of the year ... *Smile* Chris (list mom - busy as a beaver preparing the last of the Monoi and Coconut orders to ship out!) http://www.alittleolfactory.com
Guest guest
Hi Chris I just froze them as is. Put them in a ziploc bag, squeezed out all the air. I was just playing around and it will be interesting to see how they work out when I want them. I've done the basil in ice cubes too - great!
