Guest guest
Hi Chris and all: Not much known about this FDAloe other than what is on the bottle. The brand name is: 'George's' since 1979 100% Aloe Vera Fractionally Distilled Liquid Aloe. It's more like juice than gel. Says: Bitter free, no perservatives, no additives and is 100% guaranteed. Actually, it may be a good idea... The last Aloe bought had gone bad and ended up in a several month concoction that was ruined due to the Aloe. Will see how it does in lotions and such in the future and let you know. When I was in the Health Food Biz, we manufactured and sold a Cranberry/Aloe juice. It was quite tasty and healthy. This FD Aloe should work well in juices and such. We tend to like taking our extracts in juice instead of straight or water. Especially when they aren't the best tasting ones around. Noticed that folks were talking Melissa aka Lemon Balm recently. In most of our library~the census is that the perfect time to pick Lemon Balm is when it is flowering. Normally, I pick it before, during flowering, and after... This year, am doing a triple strong extract with all three times of the Melissa in the same extract for hopefully a super nice end result. Note: Melissa is one of the few herbal extracts that is only good for one year. A most fragrant evening to ya'll, Deb @ Swans' Nest
