Hey Nikie,

Shame on you .. " shame, shame, shame, " said Gomer Pyle .. or was it John

Kerry .. I get the two confused. ;-)

> LOL!!!! Pretty much an inside joke. With all the commercialism from

> Christmas and such, it's just been a running joke that if they all have

> Santa Claus, we must have a Hanukkah Harry!! :) Believe me, we don't go

> bonkers for any of the holidays!! :)

Lemme tell you that Ol' St. Nick was real fer'shur .. the ol' fat fairy

was the Bishop of Myra down on the Suthran Med coast of Turkey. I been

And .. little Jewish boys are all heart so stop trying to teach your

youngun to not believe in religious holidays. You ain't heard about

little David? Well .. I'm gonna tell you.

Little David comes home from first grade and tells his father that his

teacher had explained that Christmas was approaching and they should

love all mankind.

" Since Christmas is a really a Christian holiday and we're Jewish, " he

asks, " will God get mad at me for giving someone a Christmas Card? "

David's father thinks a bit, then says, " No, I don't think God would get

mad. Who do you want to give a card to? "

" Osama bin Laden, " David says.

" Why Osama bin Laden, " his father asks in shock.

" Well, " David says, " I thought that if a little American Jewish boy

could have enough love to give Osama a card, he might start to think

that maybe we're not all bad, and start loving people a little bit.

And if other kids heard what I did and sent a card to Osama, he might

love everyone a lot. And then he'd start traveling all over the place

to tell everyone how much he loved them and how he didn't hate anyone

anymore. "

His father's heart swelled and he looked at his boy with newfound pride.

" David, my son, that's the most wonderful thing I've ever heard. "

" I know, " David says, " and once that gets him out in the open, our

soldiers could blow his friggin head off. " ;-)
