Guest guest
Yes, there are many regionalisms here that are very amusing! That is part of what makes it interesting for sure. I have found the Tochi, and have bought a few things there, find they don't have much more going on than the Cashwise down the road, but it is a start! We are actually only here temporarily, biding time until I go to grad school next fall, as DH just started a job here. So, for a short time, we are eager to visit all that we can in this region and make the most of it. How many times in your life do you get to live in Fargo, ND? I see that Fargo hasn't changed much!! How many times in your life do you get to live in Fargo, ND? One too many my dear! (You asked!!!!) Fargo is not a place of happiness and joy and light. North Dakota is depressed. It just is. And I feel it whenever I'm there. I don't go back very often anymore. My SO is trying to get me to take a trip back but I just can't. However, on the flip side, Minneapolis is lovely. It is a 3-1/2 to 4 hour drive from Fargo (depending on how fast you drive). It took me a year to fall in love with it after life forced me to move there from sunny California, but in love indeed I did fall. I miss it but I really wouldn't want to live there again. I prefer going to the snow rather than having it come to me. In Washington here, we have to drive somewhere to go play in the snow. Except for this past New Year's when it snowed and snowed and snowed. And we had an ice storm like I've never seen. Inches of the stuff. I couldn't walk to the mailbox for almost a week. Portland and Vancouver were shut down for a week. I wouldn't have missed it for the world! Have you seen the Hjemkomst (sp?) Center in Moorhead yet? I went to school with the daughter of the man who built it. She was one of the crew members who sailed it to wherever (Norway? - I forget). The best to you and yours! Teresea C. Guest guest
Hey Eva, Nice to see you here. I can admit that I have worked in Fargo, ND!!! I don't know if there still there, but I worked for Rosenbluth International which is a travel agency based in Philadelphia. I was in Texas and worked as a floater going around to different offices and helping them out on training and things. I went to Fargo in a month where it was still freezing cold there!! Okay, 60 degrees is freezing cold for me!!! They were laughing at me, but I told them to come to Texas during our summers and all that would be left of them was a puddle on the sidewalk!! I can't think of the restaurant we went to, but it was our waitress' birthday and in another previous life I performed singing telelgrams! So, I sung one to her. Needless to say we got excellent service!! I still have your wonderful luxury essential oils although I am running low!! Looking forward to more of your buys.
