Guest guest
Hi Eva, Yes, I have to say the people in that part of the world are very friendly, very trusting and once a friend always a friend. I love 'em all and am probably related to each and every one. The thing is ... you can make the most gorgeous, healthful meal and they will nod, say it looks fabulous and then head for the jello salads. One of my very good friends is a massage therapist in Fargo and I will be visiting her if I make my way up there this summer. I will be happy to put you in touch with her and where it goes from there is between the two of you. I will contact you off list when I know the exact dates and then perhaps the two of you can get together and see if your practices/businesses might mesh. Until then, you need to learn to say: Ya Sir, ya betcha and Uuftah ... all with meaning. Dian That is pretty funny! I just moved here about a month ago. I am originally from NYC, but moved here after seven years of living in New England. So far so good. I have not really met anyone here yet, but folks seem very friendly. It also seems very conservative here, so I am not even sure where to start to find folks who may share some of my interests. Any suggestions? There does not seem to be much happening in the way of alternative living/eating/naturalism here, but maybe I've just not hit the motherlode yet. I'm still growing up - just not in the FM area. As to finding a resource for natural living/etc., there is a store located a block or two west of the post office in downtown Fargo. I think the name is Tochi Products or something like that. Perhaps you could start there. I was not into the natural scene when I lived there and do not have any other sources one could explore. P.S. Get out while you can!!! (just kidding) Teresea C. LMP in WA
