Guest guest
Good morning The following is part of an email note from a friend who is having a problem with swelling. She talkes about a blockage, but I don't know if it is a physical blockage or what she means by that. Any suggestions will be apprecated. " I need some suggestions from you concerning the swelling in my feet and ankles. have a blockage that is causing the swelling. It has come to the point that it is becoming very painful and my feet and legs feel like I am moving with ankle weights when I walk. Is there a flower essence or herbal remedy? " Thanks in advance Namaste Rita
Guest guest
Hi Rita, She really needs to see a physician for something that serious. In general, after she has been diagnosed and helped with the major problem I find rosemary in a foot soak and lotion to be very nice for swelling of ankles and legs, BUT, it sounds like she has a serious condition that needs to be addressed before she starts to " band-aid " the symptoms in any way. In our group links section, in the Alternative Healing Links folder, I have listed links to aid folks in finding anthroposophic physicians and classical homeopaths around the country .... *Smile* Chris (list mom) http://www.alittleolfactory.com ritabohn2001 [ritabohn2001] Good morning The following is part of an email note from a friend who is having a problem with swelling. Guest guest
Rita, Alternate footbaths, cold warm, cold ( always ending with cold ) ! will help. I sit at the edge of the tub, hang my feet under the spigot and switch temps. Supplements of grapeseed antioxidents , scotch broom, chestnut, wll help to better circulation. However, swollen ankles etc. indicate a heart condition and it needs to be checked out. C-M
