Guest guest
Reading the posts about washing poison ivy gave me a flashback... I think it must be about 50 years ago... I don't know where it's from, other than some kind of instructional video cartoon that I must have seen often to have it sticking in my brain like this. <presented in a very weird deep sing-songy voice.> Soap, soap. Yellow soap. You're the one who gives us hope. Rub. Scrub. In the tub. Scrub that ivy from you, Bub. I also remember the three shiny leaves with evil faces, but I don't remember the verse from that part. LOL! So, anyway, traditional lore says yes... wash it off. Mary in Michigan's typical summer (brrrr... glisten... brrrrr... etc.) ______________________ >Original Message: 6 > Wed, 07 Jul 2004 23:41:10 -0000 > " gea " <gea >Re: - Jewelweed - Recipe - Soap-question > >Thank-you for the great recipe Chris, one question, as a kid my >sister got poision ivy bad and the Dr. said showering and bathing >can make it spread, how would you recommend using this soap. >thanks >gea
