Hello all,

I am wondering if anyone here knows if Slippery Elm is ok for cats to

ingest.

My mom's cat got into some facial mask powder I made, and here are some of

the ingredients.

Oatmeal

Powdered Milk

Kelp

Slippery Elm

I didn't know if anything in the formula could possibly be toxic to

cats....and I have looked on the net, and haven't found anything.

If anyone knows...please let me know!

Thanks in advance,

Candy in AL

It was my mom's cat.....and he is totally mischievious! LOL

We weren't sure if he actually ate any.....but he had a dusting party in the

bathroom! Mom was soooo mad! LOL

But he's a cutie....so I am sure he's safe. ;) From mom at least.

She was cleaning up the bathroom for a while. <snicker>

Hey Candy:

" Is " it okay for cats to injest the slippery elm oil ? I have a dog here that I

was thinking of trying it on but didn't want to without first knowing for sure

that it's safe for him.

Read here for more info. It talks about giving it to dogs and cats, and

what it is used for.
