Guest guest
Hi, My mom is 95 1/2 years old.....in good health except for diabetes the last year which is controlled by diet. Her problem is severe bruising. If she just barely hits her arms or legs she develops severe bruises. From what I can research and find, this often occurs due to a lack of estrogen. I have used heli 10% in rosehip and while this helps with a new bruise it doesn't seem to help with the old bruises. I recently had a large bruise and immediately put the heli/rose hip on the bruise. In the center where it was more severe I dropped the heli and then just rubbed the exterior. The bruise disappeared in two days in the center but a knot was under the skin. This was over a month ago and I still have a slight " bump " in that space. Is that natural for that occur? I don't want to use the heli dilution over many different bruises on her legs and arms if there is a possibility she will have the knots occur and could cause a problem. Any advice will be really appreciated. Warmly, Bobbye P.S. Her Dr. recommended Vit K cream which we haven't gotten yet.
