In a base of Aloe Vera, we added all the following for their wonderful

properties:

*****Shea Butter:

Penetrates deep into the skin and restores elasticity. Rich in Vitamins A, E &

F. Revitalizes & softens without a greasy feel. Fatty acid action felt at the

cellullar level.

*****Rice Bran Oil:

Contains a unique antioxidant known as gamma oryzanol, high quantities of

phytosterols, polyphenols and squalene. Squalene is indicated in treating eczema

& other skin conditions. Rice Bran is excellent for dry, flaky skin.

Gamma-oryzanol is effective in absorbing ultraviolet light, thereby inhibiting a

number of adverse effects attributed to exposure to sunlight. Rich in vitamin E

complex, tocopherols and tocotrienols. Hypoallergenic.

*****Jojoba:

Jojoba " oil " is a natural mimic of the oil secreted by human skin so it may be

used to protect and lubricate skin and hair. It is soothing, stops multitudinous

skin problems and protects against premature aging and wrinkling of the skin

caused by exposure to ultra violet radiation. Widely indicated in the treatment

of acne.

*****Hazlenut Oil:

Hazelnut Oil is heralded as an oil that helps to tone and tighten the skin while

strengthening capillaries and assisting in cell regeneration. Contains essential

fatty acids including linoleic acid.

*****Glycerin.

*****Sodium Lactate:

Supplements the skin's own naturally occurring sodium lactate in order to

provide additional moisturizing and skin conditioning, especially under dry

conditions. It is also used in conjunction with lactic acid (an AHA - Alpha

Hydroxy Acid) in products designed to help rejuvenate aging skin. Sodium Lactate

is widely used in the meat packing industry because it foces cells to hold

water. Creates a non-greasy lotion. Offers superior moisturizing by lengthening

the carbon chain of oils.

*****Hydrolized Wheat Protein & Hydrolyzed Wheat Starch:

Nourishing, moisture balancing protien for hair and skin. Is actually drawn to

the damaged cells to repair them. Included in many new HIGH LINE skin creams &

hair products, widely touted.

*****Allantoin:

Cell proliferation and rapid formation of epithelium. Skin-irritation, chapping

and cracking of the epidermis disappear, together with other blemishes. When

used on intact facial and body skin allantoin produces as silky, smooth and

healthy appearance. Details on the active mechanism of Allantoin are not yet

fully established, but it is assumed that allantoin produces a transient local

increase in leukocytes. Indications: minor everyday injuries, lacerations,

rhagades, cuts and burns to stubborn and suppurating wounds, refractory ulcers

of various genesis, including the treatment of burns of varying cause and

severity, for instance, those following exposure to heat, x-ray and solar

irradiation. preparations containing allantoin also have a beneficial effect on

eczema, contact dermatitis of the hands, hyperkeratosis, paradentosis, and

aphthae. Of particular advantage is the fact that wound healing proceeds without

keloid development. In addition, internal and external hemorrhoids

respond well to suppositories and ointments with allantoin.

*****Liquipar PE:

Our lotion base is preserved with Liquipar PE, because of its lack of heat

sensitivity. You don't have to worry about " killing " the preservative when you

heat the base to fill your bottles. Just keep it below 100 degrees to protect

the emulsion! It also does NOT contain methylparaben!

ABOUT JUDY'S HEALTH: Thanks to all those who've called and emailed to check on

Mom. She's home from the hospital and has even made it up to the office a couple

of times. She's still weak, and they aren't sure what is causing the condition

yet. The Lupus and RA tests were negative. Still awaiting more results. The sack

that holds her heart is inflamed and holding fluid. The same is true of the

lining of her lungs. We're praying for her and have faith she'll be feeling

better soon.
