That's not so unusual .. major buyers should not put out big bucks afore

they know the product is pure. But still .. they must keep their prices

within the market range if they intend to stay in business. And if they

are doing the testing in house then its just a part of doing business

anyway .. like paying the electric bills.

That is bovine excrement .. most oils have GC and GC/MS tests .. but the

world is slowly turning away from Mass Spectrometry because of superior

archives now. And MS does not show what is in the oil .. it shows

Specific Gravity and Refractive Index.

They can not determine if pesticides are in an oil with GC/MS.

That .. they can determine with GC or GC/MS.

Somewhere between 98% and 100%. ;-)

Yes .. on almost all oils .. though some of the precious ones are tested

with GC/MS because of tradition and the traditional expectation of

getting the Specific Gravity and Refractive Index.

There is nothing to that .. the oils that are most likely to be

adulterated are the precious oils .. Rose Otto, Melissa, Neroli, etc.

They do .. but they should not. More on that later too.
