Lice also love nice, clean hair as they can get a grip on it and their eggs can stick on well. What do you do? Parents I know whose children have/have had this problem comb hair conditioner through the hair (nice and thick), put a towel on the pillow and that's the way the go to sleep. next morning the hair is washed and combed and more dead lice go down the plughole. Apparently the hair conditioner covers whatever they use to breathe with and they die. Any of the itching that accompanies the lice can be helped with a soap made with real sandalwood (I use Aust Sandalwood for itchies) and tea tree for any infection. So the moral of the lice story is Clean is bad Dirty is good!
