Guest guest
Both my nieces, ages 8 and 5, were sent home, for the second time, from school this week for having lice. My question is, can lice live for an extended period of time on inanimate objects such as toys, dolls, etc? My sister-in-law thinks they can and proceeded to throw out most of my nieces' toys. I may be wrong, but I thought this was a bit drastic. So before I open my mouth, can anyone tell me if that is part of the protocol when dealing with lice? Thanks.
