Guest guest
Speaking of poison ivy does anyone know how to get rid of the plant. They are very stubborn and very difficult to get rid of and it seems to be growing everywhere this year. I hope someone has an effective method. thanks Joyce
Guest guest
Joyce, My friend Kee would pull them early in spring , wearing gloves, old clothes, she ditched. Rhe put the plants into a garbage bag and buried it. Do NOT burn it. some people can get severe respiratory problems from burns PI. Guest guest
the only method we found what strong chemicals from the garden center we tried all the other ways first and as a last resort had to get spray chemicals cause the animals were rubbing against it and then rubbing against us. I hated that we had to go to that extreme but I got it so bad I couldn't wear clothes for almost a week and walked around in a sheet I was covered head to toe and even places I can't mention....also inside my mouth and nose it was not good.... Guest guest
Hi Licienne That is the same conclusion I came to I was just hoping someone else had found another way. I think I will try roundup as even the brush killer doesn't seem to do it. Hope I never get it as bad as you had it that must have been unbearable.
