Afternoon all,

Don't know what a chigger is and am happy to stay ignorant. However, I get some

nasty reactions to mosquitos ('cos I usually forget to put on an insect

repellant when I am gardening) and ticks. When I get the itches and if I have

scratched them unintentionally I make up a paste of green clay, aust sandalwood

hydrosol and aust sandalwood oil. Stops the itch in its tracks and the clay

helps to pull out infection.

I have used the sandalwood neat (restrictively because it isn't cheap) when I

had a reaction to cassia. Stopped the pain and itch almost immediately.

I am a great one for believing that if you have a bug/chigger/tick in your area

there will be a cure. The hard part is to find it.

I really agree with that. I have never seen the bugger just the results there

of. These things are annoying as all get out and the only way for me to avoid

them at this point is to stay inside and when I do have to get out I simply must

not touch the ground at all. Anyone have any oils for floating about the

ground? LOL Kathy
