Hey there,

I accumulate a lot of the Pharmacy pill bottles, (elderly live-in

Mother in Law) in the dark brown tint with the lock on caps...I know

that glass is best but these little bottles are screaming to be

recycled....LOL

I am making up bath salts, bath teas, etc as well as culinary herbed

sugars and salts and seasonings...

Can I use these bottles to package my mixtures in?....it is a very

thick plastic and they are very good sizes to use :o)

Thanks for any info y'all can tell me about.....

Blessings, Stephanie

Stephanie,

After a good cleaning, removal of the label, I would say, use those

containers...

Not for resale, but for family, friends, etc., should be OK.

Thanks so much for the feedback.....I've washed all of them so they

are ready for a new life now ! LOL

I'm always recycling well made containers and I have used some

different types in my retail business....Never had any problems with

my packaging....That's why I figured the pharmacy pill bottles would

be good since they are obviously sold to the stores for storing our

medicines so with the USDA regs.....we can safely say they are

meeting a " food grade " regulation of some sort.

Once my label and transformation of the lid is done I have a quality

packaging and unique to boot..LOL

Thanks again and hope to make some friends with others out there

running a cottage industry business.

I'm in South Alabama....Is there anyone out there in my region??
