Guest guest
ok...got my newest shipment in - the catnip oil is DEF not on my 'sweet aroma' list! LOL ... but the geranium and the rose hydrosol .....oh my! I love it!!! I've looked thru the messages on the - and can't seem to find any answers - have tried a search...no luck....so maybe I missed someone's help - and apologize if someone wrote and I missed it - but I really need some help in making up a concoction to help my horses beat the mosquitos and horseflies!! I'm out there every night trying to kill the horseflies off them - and they are out there bucking and rolling ... right now I'm putting about 10 drops of catnip oil in a pint of 1/2 water 1/2 vinegar - anything else I can add to this?? thanks! They are " identical " to the hormones in the body and do not have mare urine or whatever else found in synthetics. As I indicated if you do a search on bioidentical hormones on the web you will find more than you ever wanted to know. A lot of Doctors who are prescribing BHRT's are in the " anti-aging " segment of the medical community. The best way to find a doctor who is knowledgable is to call a compounding pharmacy in your area and they can refer you to a Doctor. There are two ways to determine your personal hormone levels: blood tests and saliva tests. My Doctor uses the blood tests. Hormones are then compounded especially for you to bring your personal levels back to normal. From what I've read there is indication that bioidenticals help to prevent breast cancer. You can get some creams from a health food store that help some; however, I've read they are not as potent and helpful as getting a prescription made just for you. Last, Suzanne Somers has a web site with group discussions on these hormones under the " Community " segment - Women's Health. I like to read the stories people share and how these hormones are helping. Some of these women have literally been through Hell with menopause (peri and post) and surgeries. Others abruptly stopped taking HRT's when the infamous study came out and have suffered tremendously. I'm very thankful Suzanne wrote the book and brought this subject to the forefront for women to at least have a choice. Hope this helps. He had me taking them every three days instead of every day but I stopped taking them months ago. I must say that I did feel better on them. > > Thanks again, > > Kat > > > > > > > > >
