Got Dennis Archer's book today (Wearing my editor hat)

It looks like a smashing read. I'm going to review it for Aromatic Sage...

 

Having taken a quick look at it I can say this... who KNEW there was so much

to say about Backhousia citriodora T. Muell.?

 

All I've done is take a brief look at the book and won't be able to do much

more than that until I get back on the 21st but from what I've seen, he takes

the plant from prior to planting all the way through distillation with some

interesting photo's and stops along the way and beyond into the use of it.

 

I'm looking forward to reading and then reviewing this book for the ole rag.

I'm just plain looking forward to reading it.

 

One of the things that there aren't enough of, are books that just " do " one

oil. I think it was Maggie tisserand who did a whole book on Rose oil (and left

a few things out... perhaps I should get someone to review that one for

me...), but there aren't a lot of books that do the whole thing from planting to

distillation to uses...

 

So I'm really looking forward to doing the " Lemon Myrtle " thing. ;-)
