Bless her heart....I went thru that horrific pain for 5 long weeks...the only way I could sleep for a few hours at a time was with my back brace on and laying on my stomach! I have, what most would consider, huge breasts.....so laying on my stomach is NOT fun! LOL It probably isn't so much the disc being ruptured that is causing the pain.....it all goes back to your nerves. I tried Neurontin for nerve pain and while it did help a little,.....the elephant feet I got from taking it far outweighed any relief I seemed to get. Are there any University Hospitals in her area? Most of them do billing on a sliding scale. I will sure add her to my Reiki healing box and will say some prayers for her.....this pain is at best, unbearable. Keep us updated OK?
