Guest guest
>>As soon as I hear from her, and find out something, I will post an update to the group.>> I truly hope that she gets better Candy. If she has pain that is this bad tho, I would guess that she has impinged a nerve somewhere. There is *nothing* in this world that can touch nerve pain. I know this first hand I had a fusion done several years ago and ooops, the Dr left a chunk of disc in my spine that should have not been there. His explanation was that it must have gotten lodged up against the sciatic nerve and that was what was causing all of my horrific pain. IMO.....it was way more than that. Had to have 2nd surgery 5 weeks later to get that chunk of disc out......I felt 100% better. I had surgery late in the afternoon and because I react strangely to morphine, I was up that entire evening My Dr signed me out at 7am that next morning. Not usual for any kind of invasive procedure like that. Please don't let your friend stay in this kind of pain for too long. My pain got to the point of suicidal thoughts. Not only that, but the longer she leaves that nerve impinged, the more damage it is doing. Let me tell you how irreversible nerve damage is! My entire left leg is basically " dead " and I still get what some might call *phantom pain*. This is JMO, but she should seek out a reputable Neurosurgeon......an Orthopedic Dr did mine.....and it was painfully obvious, with all of the nerve damage that he caused. If she would like to email me personally, I'd be happy to share what info I now know with her Chris Kelly Website updated weekly! Come see what is new. > http://www.scentsappeal.net Chris, Thanks so much for the information. She doesn't have email..... So I will just have to pass the information along to her. She said that the massage oil I gave her didn't touch the pain. And she's certain that it's most likely a ruptured disk....as she has had one before. She is trying to find a doctor that will see her without having insurance. But, we just don't know at this point what she will be able to do. We will just have to pray for her, and hope that she can get something done quickly. Thanks to you and to everyone with all of the suggestions for my friend.
