Guest guest
I have been reading the recent posts on suppliers and customer service with great interest. I have been working with essential oils for over 12 years now and because of this I have been exposed to quite a few different companies. I always try to give each company a good chance of proving themselves worthy of my patronage but after a fair chance if I'm not satisfied then I no longer deal with them and usually let then know that I will no longer be giving them my business. There are enough good suppliers out there who still know the meaning and importance of customer service. Having said that, I also believe in letting the good companies know how much I appreciate their quality of customer service along with the quality of their merchandise. Just recently I have placed my first order with the List Mom and I already know that she is going to be added to my list of " approved " suppliers. Besides heading up this great list she seems to really know her stuff when it comes to essential oils, aromatherapy, and all the things that go hand in hand with those. Of all of the other companies that I have dealt with there are two that made great first impressions and have grown with each and every order to the top of my list. The first one is Marge Clark's Nature's Gift. If you have never visited her website it is a shame. She has, hands down, the most informative website that I have ever been to and I had the pleasure of meeting her in person at the NAHA conference in Seattle a few years back. Great lady and a great company. I have never been dissappointed in any essential oil that I have purchased from her or any of the other related products including her fantastic synergies. I have referred many people to her website even if they are not interested in actually purchasing essential oils, just so that they can read her essential oil descriptions and all of the other information that she provides. The second company would have to be Butch Owen's Appalachian Valley - Anatolian Treasures. Now the only reason that I am putting him second is because I did business with Marge Clark before I discovered his site. Butch's customer service is just plain and simple the best example that any company could set their standards by. Great products and great service. What more can anyone ask for?? Besides great essential oils he has wonderful hydrosols, herbal teas, olive oil, etc., and his terry cloth robes are even better than he says they are. I am not saying that these are the only good suppliers out there. I am just letting people know how terrific they are (in my opinion) and I should also mention that I am not affiliated with any of these companies, I am just one very satisfied, happy customer who is grateful to have found these wonderful companies. I would love to hear other unsolicited reviews of some reputable suppliers. Sometimes it seems as if all I ever hear about are the bad ones and I think that it is time to let the good people know how much we appreciate them. Thank you. Rosanne Taylor, LMT Well, I am glad to read this and other replies because recently I ran into very rude, poor customer service. I vowed to never order from them again. It is nice to know that my feelings are validated. :-) Tracy Friends. Fun. Try the all-new Messenger
Guest guest
I read your listing with great interest. I live in a rural community in Ohio and I have to travel at least 20 minutes to get to a health food store with eo's. Otherwise I have to travel at least 45 minutes to get to a larger area with a larger store. I have been thinking of using an online site but have been wary as even though most claim great service I would rather hear those comments from someone who as used their services. I will be purchasing real soon from both sites, on that you can bet. Guest guest
Roseanne, To add to the ones you mention, I also like to add Sunrose Aromatics, which is run by Roseanne Tartaro. I agrree with Marge having the best info out there, it's really like a free book and I recommend that site to every one who is starting out with EO's if they want to buy their oils from her or not. However, we are so lucky to have Butch with his firt hand knowledge about the industrie. Keeps us from being fooled... C-M
Guest guest
Hi Candy, >So far, I have been very lucky to have found some really great suppliers. > I have found one place, that I requested a quote from, and this was >approximately 5 months ago. Still haven't heard from them. Did you email that request? I wonder if it may have gotten lost in cyberspace. Sometimes that can happen. You might try again and hope for the best. > >I suppose they don't want or need my business. And that is fine. I will >take my money to a company that will appreciate my patronage. And I will >respond in kind, by purchasing their items, with a smile on my face. They probably never got your request, I just can't imagine a business not responding since they are in business to serve others who need what they have. >Candy in AL Take care, Margaret www.naturalindulgences.com Bulk Grade A Shea Butter For Sale _______________ Watch the online reality show Mixed Messages with a friend and enter to win a trip to NY http://www.msnmessenger-download.click-url.com/go/onm00200497ave/direct/01/
Guest guest
I know the feeling, My oils came last week, I got dinged $84.69 for customs !!! ..bloody government. Now, I will still buy from Butch not because I don't have cheaper Canadian suppliers, because the oils that I do buy here just don't smell the same, Butch's oils are far better quality. I buy the 4 oz, so that when I break them down into the 15ml sizes, I can make some of the mulla back. Now what I don't order from Butch is the gallon jugs, those I buy locally, because of the weight involved.. So email me privetly, and I will send you suppliers from Ontario and B.C. Carol ( Ontarian, LOL) cjpearce - " Joyce Browning " <naturesown Sunday, June 06, 2004 6:28 PM Suppliers Hi Everyone Does anyone have any good suppliers of EO's in Canada. I love Butch's oils and the service is A one but I find the US $ and shipping and charges by customs really add onto the price of the oils.
