Guest guest
Hi Laura, > Hi CM > When I had ongoing strep throat and the antibiotics > would not help, I began taking 1drop of oregano oil > 3x a day and within 3 days it worked. Different animal that was .. the Origanums are death fer'shur on a wide range of strep bacteria .. but as you know, this one is likely due to the Epstein-Barr virus .. and the symptoms can continue for a long time. > I have been hesitant to do this with my son because of > his age. There is absolutely no danger to the Origanums .. none whatsoever. > I know he would drink the soup. 1 drop of eo in a bowl > once a day sound sufficient? Yes .. and if he turns his nose up at it then use a half drop. Chris Ziegler used Origanum on her oldest when he was less than 2 years old .. she put it in soup and in spaghetti sauce .. but he liked it. I know of other mothers who have done this and if I still had little rug rats I would not hesitate to give it to them. > I know mono has to run its course, but I think he needs > a little herbal intervention : ) Like CM said .. its a matter of strengthening the immune system. We can't kill a virus but we can make it wanna go into retrograde by doing all we can to increase our weakened immune system. > Thanks for you help, > Laura Good luck .. and may the tough times pass quickly. :-) Butch >>Laura, >> I would built up his immunity system with rich sources of >>antioxidants. Also try oregano eo. >>Catnip tea would calm him down and break a fever. Wash his feet and >>hands, arms down with witchhazel. >>Might be hard to get into a 5 year old, but I am sure a good rich >>broth made from chicken and garlic with a drop of oregano would help. >>Mono takes it's time to get over it. >>C-M
