amni visnaga and valerian.

either one will drive me out of the house...the combination is unthinkable!

hmmmm both of them are deep notes... maybe some lime to lighten it up.

(lime is the one citrus I don't like ;)

I totally agree with valerian - I had a CO2 sample sent to me and I brought it

to my ATx teacher and class...we all agreed it smelt like your nose was up a

cow's a**!!! Not only that, the drop of valerian on a smelling strip we passed

around was so bad, we tried to mask it with other oils - to no avail. We

finally put it in a covered garbage can, and had to get it out of the room! I

felt sorry for the janitor!

Neem oil stinks too! Guess that's why it keeps the bugs away!

But I really like lime - differences in noses, eh?

Blessings,

Doreen

When I first saw Marge's post listing Valerian, like you Doreen, I

totally agreed. I also think Ledum has an awful smell, along with

Cistus, Tarragon, Niaouli, Manuka, and Oakmoss. So my WORST blend would

be equal parts of them in Sesame oil.

However, I do use all of them in blends, usually in minute quantities.

As for an oil that I simply despise the smell of and many others love,

it's Wintergreen.
